About Kim

Actor. Creator. Story Teller.

Born and raised in Colorado, I first fell in love with performing during my second-grade class play. Since then, I've spent as much time as possible near the stage - from singing in school choirs to writing and directing my own short plays. I see the arts as an outlet for connection and expression, a means of understanding ourselves and the world around us in the hope of making it better. It is a joy and a privilege to take someone's story and bring it to life for an audience, and it is that joy which keeps me coming back to the stage again and again, ready for the next story.

The Current Chapter

After graduating with a BFA in Theatre Arts from Hofstra University, I am spending this summer in CO, performing with the Colorado Renaissance Festival and working for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. I will be back in NYC come August and will continue to pursue developing new works, including an original play. I will also be making my international debut at the European Young Theatre Festival in Spoleto, Italy this June.

Beyond the Stage

Outside of the world of theatre, I am still a huge nerd. I am a voracious reader, TTRPG enthusiast, and have the Lord of the Rings film trilogy basically memorized. Never forgetting my Colorado roots, I love hiking and general frolicking, bonus points if its done to sea shanties.

On a more serious note, I am a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and treatment, having dealt with chronic mental illness for most of my life. It is my goal to see these conditions explored and represented on stage and film and to help others find the resources and acceptance I wish I had. I began telling more of my story in the student documentary "We are Gen Z: In the Spotlight" and hope to continue spreading my message of love and growth throughout my career.
